The Characters
Tsunanori Mido
Man who manipulates kugutsu, and who is tasked with protecting his city's barrier! Miyako City's traditional, old-fashioned city streets sprawl out from the central Gokakudo Temple, where Tsunanori comes from the long lineage of the Mido family. It is possible for him to control kugutsu, or animated puppets, which have their own will. As a result of the last great war, the old societal and spiritual orders were destroyed. Since then, supernatural phenomena have plagued Miyako City. Tsunanori is selected to investigate other worlds and restore order in the spiritual realm as part of the Cathedral Project. He sets out with the kugutsu to find four elemental spirits in other worlds with the help of the kugutsu.
Ameya AiSLing
A witch hiding her true identity under the guise of an elementary school girl! As part of her witchterms, Ameya visits Miyako City from the Witchdom Pulchra. In Miyako City, she assumes the identity of an 11-year-old schoolgirl named Yumeha Izumi and lives with her cat familiar, LoLo. She loses her magic powers after being attacked by an unknown man. Can Ameya regain her magical powers and pass her witchterms?

A dismal king is driven from his throne. Known as the Dismal King, Siugnas is an immortal vampire who rules over Yomi, a world shrouded in darkness. Having been betrayed and driven from his throne, Siugnas awakens in Brighthome, the gathering place of dead warriors. Siugnas, an immortal being who now finds himself in the land of the dead, is incorporated into the army of the king and sent into battle against the invading forces of disorder.
